SLEIGH RIDES

Remember the verse:” Over the river and through the woods, to Grandmothers house we go, the horse knows the way, to carry the sleigh, through the high and drifting snow.” Well you can enjoy the nostalgia again from 5 PM until 9 PM the evening of the annual Christmas Lighting ceremony here in town on November28. Ernie from Misty Haven Stables will have his horses and sleigh here again to provide the rides. Sign up early at Galls Insurance to guarantee your family some seasonal fun. The cost is $20 for up to 6 on a ride or $5 a person, minimum of two.

POINSETTAS

Nothing makes a prettier center piece during the holiday season than a colorful poinsettia. It is my favorite Christmas decoration. The Lilly Fire Company has them available in red, pink or white in 6 ½ inch pots with two to three blooms for only $7. Pick up is December 4^th at the fire hall. If they are as nice as last years the price is a bargain. They also have live Douglas fir wreaths for $15 and live Douglas fir swags for $8. Call Linda at 886-7307 or Judy at 408-2005 to place your order or sign up on the order sheet at Deluca’s Market. Buy several as gifts that can be enjoyed until well past the New Year.

Belated Birthday greetings are sent to Ann (Hershel) Fetsick in Pittsburgh who celebrated on the 7th and Mary Mullen who celebrated her 91^st on the 11^th.

BIRTHDAYS

A special birthday greeting goes to Ed Kawtoski who celebrates his 82^nd birthday today, November 12^th. Tomorrow, Mary Ann Suchta celebrates as will Steve Mardula, Lauren Ronan, Ray Serre and John Schaffranek on the 14^th.

The 15^th will be a busy party day as Robert Koval, Gerald “Taxi” Mack, Tyler Prebish, Mark Przybys, Joyce Pyo, James Steberger, Joanna Driskel and Sarah Wilson all celebrate. On the 17^th my granddaughter Kaylee Mento will be 5 years old and Ron George and Tabitha Sibis also observe their birthdays as will Helen Cameletti, Cristy Koval  and Kristi Miklinski on the 18^th. Happy Birthday to All.

ANNIVERSARIES

Mike and Shelley McIntosh celebrate their wedding anniversary on November 15^th. Congratulations.
